Veritas Christian Academy

Our Varsity Football game competed in their 1st complete game of the season this past Friday night and defeated the host school, Missouri Military Academy, by the score of 57-0. The Eagles opened the scoring midway through the 1st quarter, as Ramahd Painter scored on a short TD run. Soon after, QB Logan Meyer hit Painter with a touchdown pass, giving the Eagles a quick 14-0 advantage. Early in the 2nd quarter, Alex Kramper - who had a great overall game running the football - scored on a 9 yard run to give VCA a 21-0 lead, early in the 2nd quarter. Four minutes later, Kramper scored on a dandy run, this time from 41 yards out, giving the Eagles a commanding 27-0 lead prior to the half. The Eagles continued to add to their lead in the 2nd half. Logan Meyer threw a couple of more touchdown passes, one to Luke Niemeyer, and another to Sawyer Patten. Alex Kramper also had another rushing touchdown and Painter added a defensive score. The Eagles will return to action this Friday night, September 18, as they travel to Grandview (Hillsboro) High School to take on the Eagles. Kickoff is set for 7 pm.
